How do you feel first thing in the morning? "Bright and breezy and keen for the day to start. Until this year I've never been a morning person, but now I really love them." What exercise do you take? "I do yoga once a week and try to swim, run and play tennis as often as I can." Are you careful about what you eat? "Yes. Are you, or have you ever been, overweight? "I had puppy fat as a teenager. I'd always like to be a bit thinner than I am, but then that's true for the majority of women, I think." Do you take vitamins? "Not really. When I'm run down I try to take vitamin C." Do you drink/smoke too much? "I have the odd glass too many on occasions, and I don't smoke." Do you catch colds in winter? "I'm fairly robust in the cold department (fingers crossed) so I usually get by unscathed." What foods can't you eat? "Salami. Or any form of fat." Do you suffer from stress? "Yes. But I also need a certain amount of it to keep me on my toes, I think." Have you ever been in hospital? "Fortunately not." Does your job affect your health? "It affects my social life more." How often do you consult your doctor? "Once every two years for a medical for my motor racing licence. Unless I'm really ill." Do you look after your skin? "Yes, I drink lots of water and I use moisturiser." Are you happy with your body? "On the whole, yes." Do you take more care of yourself as the years go by? "Definitely." |
