Safety investigators were today continuing their probe into the death of a Teesside man at a North Yorkshire power station.
David Jamieson, 54, of South Bank, is believed to have fallen before being found by colleagues inside the chimney stack at Eggborough Power Station, near Selby, on Friday night. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His wife Carol was too distressed to talk about the tragedy today.
Mr Jamieson was employed by Pendrick, an Edinburgh-based firm of specialist steeplejacks, working as sub-contractors to Bierrum and Partners, brought in to fit a lining to the chimney.
The Health and Safety Executive and plant owner, British Energy, are carrying out separate inquiries.
