A new software product will ensure that websites and email systems are never offline again.
Newcastle-based software product company Zullatec has just released UPTIME365, which has been under development in the region for more than four years.
Philip Aranzulla, Zullatec managing director, established the company in 2002 and has been the chief architect for the patent-pending distributed enterprise and carrier level system. He initially studied the impact of failures of websites and email systems on businesses which led to research into technology that would guarantee reliability and an e-presence 365 days a year with no interruption.
He was awarded a DTI SMART Feasibility Study grant and later a DTI Development grant for UPTIME365, which helped him develop the product. The company also attracted further funding from NStar Equity Investors and HSBC.
