One of the world's most glamorous grannies has launched an appeal to find a selfless senior citizen worthy of a national award.
Joan Collins, 71, the star of The Bitch and TV's Dynasty is stepping into the limelight to support Help the Aged by publicly calling for nominations for the charity's Living Legend Awards.
The awards acknowledge the achievements of older individuals in Scotland who have shown outstanding acts of kindness to others, committed heroic acts or achieved remarkable feats against the odds.
Award categories also include the Achievement in Sport Award and the International Schools Award, open to schools from Scotland who work together with older people to bridge the generation gap.
The Help the Aged Living Legend winners will be invited to London for the award ceremony at the Dorchester Hotel on March 24 where they will join a host of celebrity supporters.
