Michelle reminisces

Jul 19 2004

By The Evening Chronicle

Big Brother's Michelle Bass has been telling her fellow housemates about life in Newcastle.

The 23-year-old mortgage adviser from Dinnington, Newcastle, told Victor about the local clubs when they had a late-night chat, and confessed her love of Malibu and pineapple.

Even with nominations due tomorrow, the house remains calm after feisty Ahmed was evicted from the reality TV show on Friday.

Evil Big Brother bosses set the seven remaining housemates a stomach-churning task on Saturday that saw them losing £15,000 in prize money.

Vegetarian Michelle was chosen by the other housemates to be the "selector" for the challenge, which involved housemates sliding into a pool of fish guts.

Michelle was picked to spare her the ordeal after she was left horrified by a bowl of fish guts on the coffee table.

But to Michelle's despair it then turned out it was her job as selector to pick the names out of the stinking bowl to determine who would be paired with whom.

As soon as her ordeal was over she ran to the kitchen sink heaving.

Big Brother gave her the chance to win back the prize money they had lost by drinking a fish milkshake.

But she declined tearfully, saying: "I'm a vegetarian. I'm not gonna drink it."

Big Brother then said that if any of her fellow housemates were prepared to drink it in under two minutes they could recoup £5,000 from the lost prize fund.

Stu was ready to take up the challenge but was talked out of it by the other housemates.

The prize fund, originally £100,000, now stands at £56,500.
