Murray mint

Jul 6 2005

By The Evening Chronicle

Andy Murray's coach Mark Petchey was pleased there was no Wimbledon hangover for the teenager after he enjoyed a straight-sets victory over Frenchman Gregory Carraz in Rhode Island yesterday.

Murray, who lit up the All England Club just over a week ago, beat Carraz 6-2 6-4 in the Hall of Fame Tennis Championships and was due to lay another Frenchman, Antony Dupuis, in the second round today.

Petchey said: "There is a lot of expectation on Andrew to succeed but he has done well to get to the second round."
