Helen Cowell, of Acklam, is 27 and a clerical officer at James Cook University Hospital X-ray department. What pets do you have? A Shih Tzu. What is he called and why? He's called Charlie. I don't know why but when I first got him he was called Perry and I wasn't going to shout that in the street. Where and when did you get him? I got him from my aunty after she was ill and could no longer look after him. What's the funniest thing Charlie has ever done? When it was hot in the summer I let him off his lead and he jumped straight in Acklam pond. He came out all black and I could have sworn he'd turned into a black dog. Any yucky pet moments? One night I came in drunk, threw up on the floor, passed out and found out later that Charlie had eaten the sick. Next morning I came downstairs to find him licking my sister's boyfriend waking him up. He also wees up the Christmas tree every year. If your pet could speak, what would he say? Biscuits now! Or I want to be alone, I'm sleepy. What was your first pet and what was it called? A goldfish I called Teddy which I got for my 5th birthday. What animal best describes you and why? A dolphin because I'm a vegetarian but eat fish and I'm laid back. If you could keep any animal in the world, what would it be and why? I'd have an animal sanctuary so I could have every type of animal. |
