Although I have always thought people playing games with the cruelty of hunting was disgusting, I have not been involved against it. However, after seeing a little of the Waterloo Cup on TV recently it really came home to me.
How could these hordes of often affluent people justify it with their inane comments such as "love of countryside, dogs and hares"? I despair at the thinking of so many English people.
