I've also seen readers' letters in the pages of a well known Sunday paper from gamekeepers' sons who recall collecting young fox cubs at their local railway station. These had been sent from other areas to restock the local hunt's territory, so we import vermin in order to kill it because it's a nuisance to farmers!
The same writers also mentioned construction in coppice-free groups of artificial earths to encourage more foxes to reside in the hunt's area.
Who exactly is kidding who in this so-called debate?
