Chris hogs the cash

Teesside's local wildlife has been given a cash injection thanks to a dedicated volunteer.
Chris Firth, right, who commits up to 40 hours a month to the Cleveland Hedgehog Preservation Society, has been awarded £1,000 for the cause.
The BT employee, a volunteer with the society for 14 years, was a runner-up in the community and cultural category in the 2005 BT Chairman's Awards.
